  • Licensed Professional Counselor
  • Licensed Social Worker Supervisor with state and national certifications in addiction counseling
  • Holds a national certification in gambling addiction
  • Department of Transportation (DOT) Substance Abuse Professional (SAP)
  • Master's degree in counseling from Marshall University
  • 24 years of experience providing individual, group, family, and couples counseling
  • From Greenbrier County, where he lives on a family farm
  • Enjoys outdoor activities and spending time with family and friends

Jim Vance

MA, LPC, LSW, AADC, SAP, CEAP
  • Licensed Professional Counselor and Licensed Social Worker with advanced certifications in addiction counseling
  • Background in addiction, family therapy, group therapy, mood disorders, EAP work, and crisis management
  • Bachelor's degree in secondary education from Marshall University
  • Master's degree in Counseling from Marshall University
  • From Kanawha County
  • Enjoys listening to music, reading, outdoor sports, and spending time with his family

Kerry Harper

RBA, MS, LPC
  • Ms. Harper has been with Pyramid since May of 2018. She is Licensed Professional Counselor with a Master of Science in Clinical Mental Health Counseling. 
  • She works with individuals who have mental health issue, family and couples counseling and individuals on suboxone. Ms. Harper is also an instructor for the WV Safety and Treatment Program for DUI clients.
  • She accommodates clients, via telehealth, in all counties of West Virginia.
  •  Kerry enjoys spending time with family and friends, hiking, increasing educational knowledge and helping individuals of various backgrounds. 

Megan Jones

Provisionally Licensed Counselor
  • Megan has been with Pyramid Counseling LLC since March 2021.
  • Megan received her Master’s in Mental Health Counseling in 2021 and has been working with Pyramid to obtain her licensure.
  • In her free time, Megan enjoys spending time with her farm animals, singing and dancing.

Brittany Lusk

Intern

  • Brittany has been a part of Pyramid Counseling LLC since May 2023.
  • Brittany is graduating in December 2023 with a Master’s of Education in Counseling and Human Development.
  • She will be working at Pyramid Counseling LLC to obtain her licensure as a Licensed Professional Counselor.
  • During her free time, she loves to spend time at home with her family and animals.
